Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"After three days of eating Thai food, we wanted something different once we set foot back in Malaysia. So, we drove all the way to Pak Non Nasi Kandar — and left completely satisfied! The four of us ordered different sets of lauk, and every dish was delicious. Honestly, it’s one of the best Nasi Kandar I’ve ever had. This roadside eatery even has fans to keep diners comfortable — a nice touch. Great job, and highly recommended!"
"One of the best Nasi kandar (yellow rice) I have ever tested in the northern peninsula area. Spending my money with rice, Fried chicken thigh, meat, bawang goreng and kuah banjir which cost me RM 13.50 I think this is the best money I have ever spent since the longest time. Each bite feels so good, the fried chicken was served hot and crispy, the meat is so soft, all of the dishes and gravy are filled up with enough spices. Beside there are lots of dishes available to choose from. The portion is big and the price is reasonable. All the dishes prices are shown so customers can be more aware. The restaurant is clean and has few seating areas. But the parking is quite limited at the roadsides. The location is very strategically located nearby the Kangar Town and easy to find. The atmosphere is also very calming and relaxing. Suitable to bring family and friends. The service is also good and the waiting time is not long at all. Totally recommended please come."
"Not a typical mamak style nasi kandar More to malay style but lil twist which is their sambal belacan! Wait, what???!! Eating nasi kandar with sambal belacan?!!! Ohhh yeah you guys should try it, match with bwg goreng One of local people go by so it's hidden"
"The people and the food are exceptional! The local people who work there were so nice to me, as a foreigner, and helped me select great Malaysian food. (The chicken was delicious) They made me feel so welcome and comfortable there that I returned multiple times during my week in Kangar. Highly recommend!"
"This is hands down one of the best Nasi Kandar spots in Perlis – and dare I say, even better than some of the Nasi Kandar eateries in Penang or KL! My personal favourite is their Ayam Masala (chicken cooked in a rich and aromatic masala sauce). While I’ve also tried their Ayam Madu (honey-glazed chicken) and Ayam Negro (soy sauce-marinated chicken), the Ayam Masala stands out as the absolute winner for me. If you’re a Nasi Kandar lover, you have to give this place a try. The flavours will blow you away – you’ll be shocked by just how good it is! Don’t miss out!"
"delicious local kandar cuisine.. Come early for craving choices.."
"They have unique drinks such as Teh Ais Masala, Teh Masala, Cincau Susu Lembu. The chicken dishes are nice and tasty with their own blend of spices. Options of chicken are Ayam Goreng, Ayam Negro, Ayam Rose, and Ayam Madu. It would be nice if they can add another 2 or 3 choices of fish curry, maybe Bawal and Nyok-Nyok. The Bawang goreng is a MUST."
"Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste P/s: The only state with the signature Pat Poh drink everywhere that will definitely quench your thirst and cool your body to battle the heat of the sun. Please give it a try"
